Financial Accountant London

Global Property Asset Manager based in the City is recruiting for a Financial Accountant. Reporting to the CFO the role will manage a small team of 2 staff.

Responsibility for preparation of year end accounts and audit files for audit for three companies in UK group

Day to day operational control of Nominal Ledgers ensuring all entities are up to date and correct on SUN system

Month end responsibility for all trail, AuM, headcount, global costs and sales analysis and reporting

Liaising with international branches to maintain and settle inter-company balances and maintain debtors levels for FSA requirements

Responsible for submission of VAT Returns with large partial exemption element for two income generating companies Preparation of European Regulatory returns and review of FSA returns

Production and submission of quarterly FSA returns and reporting of Solvability and Large Exposures for European regulator

Preparation of monthly corporation tax provisions, liaising with external tax consultants

Experience of IFRS, Vision Excel and Sun Accounts

Asset Management industry experience

Educated to Degree level

Qualified Accountant

Very thorough, accurate, excellent attention to detail

Good organisational/time management skills, able to prioritise workload

Self starter, pro-active, can do attitude
