Job Description

A leading Investment Bank based in Canary Wharf is looking for individuals with strong exotic credit knowledge to join their wider credit product control team. Depending on your background and preferences, the role will either sit within line product control or projects.

This particular business at the moment is going through a lot of growth and there will definitely be opportunities to develop and progress within the role over the next few years.

There are currently 13 people supporting the correlation trading desk. Typical products include FTD, CSOs, CSO^2, CPPI, CPDO, Asset Swaps, Balance Sheet and basis reducing trades, and the full suite of vanilla hedging instruments. This is a technical area and existing relevant product knowledge is very important.

The hiring manager appreciates that it is an unusual time of the year to be changing jobs so is happy to meet good candidates now with the aim to join post bonus in 2010.

Roles/Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role will be either to oversee and manage the production of the daily P&L or to work in the group's project team covering many current future projects.
